Lay the foundations for a career in quantity surveying Build an exciting career as a quantity surveyor On this degree apprenticeship you’ll develop a strong mix of theoretical, practical, academic, management and industrial-based skills. During the course you’ll gain: a business perspective of the construction industry. an understanding of the relationship between the construction industry and consultancy market. sound knowledge of the construction and development process. techniques in financial and project management. For one day a week, you'll learn at university rather than your place of work. There will also be learning activities and opportunities to gain experience at your workplace. We have designed the Quantity Surveying BSc (Hons) Degree Apprenticeship to provide essential knowledge to a Chartered Surveyor Degree Standard. This programme is accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). We’re also applying to be accredited by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB). The course leads to a BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying (Degree Apprenticeship) and a professional qualification through an End Point Assessment (EPA). An EPA is an impartial evaluation to determine whether you have developed the required skills, knowledge, and behaviours to complete your course.
