Overview
Through autonomous learning, students on this module will build critical analysis skills to synthesise research philosophy and methods to design a research project that addresses the needs of current or emerging Health and Social care populations. During the module you will investigate the purpose and philosophy of research to inform evidence based practice. This is alongside exploring ethical principles, the practice of qualitative and quantitative research design, and literature review methodologies. Research Methods: Philosophy and Study Design can be taken as a stand-alone module, or as a package of modules, to build towards an MSc Public Health
