Overview

Train to become a secondary school English teacher while working, with a degree apprenticeship that blends real classroom experience and expert-led study.

Entry requirements

UCAS points - 112-120 points from 3 A levels, or equivalent. ( calculate your UCAS points ) T-levels - Merit BTECs (Extended Diplomas) - DDM-DMM International Baccalaureate - 27 All applicants must have achieved at least a grade 4/C in GCSE in English, Maths and a Science subject or equivalent. Applicants meeting the required GCSE standard by taking an equivalence test or other evidence may be required to undertake additional assessment to meet Level 2 criteria for apprenticeship funding. You may need to have studied specific subjects or GCSEs – see full entry requirements and other qualifications we accept. Selection process All applicants will be required to complete a Skills Gap Analysis before completing an application form. All applicants will be invited to attend an interview. All offers are subject to Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance and Occupational Health clearance.
