Eligibility

It is automatically offered to applicants with an undergraduate degree from the School of Science & Technology at City St George's, University of London. If you accept a place on any of our engineering master's degrees, you will be awarded a scholarship according to the degree classification you attain in your undergraduate degree: First Class Honours: you will receive a scholarship equal to 35% of your fees Upper-second Class Honours: you will receive a scholarship equal to 30% of your fees Lower-second Class Honours: you will receive a scholarship equal to 25% of your fees. Other eligibility requirements Up to three bursaries are expected to be awarded by HCAP on an annual basis exclusively to students who are fully registered on one of the four MSc Aviation Management programmes at City, University of London. The bursaries are open to all students studying one of the below programmes at City, University of London. MSc Air Transport Management MSc Air Safety Management MSc Aircraft Maintenance Management Bursaries are usually offered at £3,000 each (although this is reviewed and confirmed annually) and are intended to assist students who do not have any other source of financial support towards fees. In addition, there is the potential award of a Certificate of Commendation, available for students who have other sources of financial support towards the fees and, but for this financial support, would have been awarded a bursary. We believe exceptional academic performance should be recognised and rewarded. If you are an international student starting an undergraduate course at City St George's in September 2026, a 50% scholarship is available for your first year. This scholarship is designed as a recognition of the growing cost of studying at university. As such, the President’s International scholars will be awarded the scholarship as a discount in the fee amount due in the first year of their study. The successful scholars will also be expected to be ambassadors for the City St George's community. Eligibility

If you are applying for a master's degree in the School of Health & Medical Sciences and are currently on an undergraduate programme in the school, you may be eligible to apply for a £2,500 scholarship. The School of Health & Medical Sciences has two Dean's Scholarships of £2,500 available for academically outstanding students who are currently studying on an undergraduate Programme in the School and who wish to progress onto a master’s programme (September or January intake). Students must meet all of the eligibility criteria below: Enrolled full-time or part-time (minimum 50% of a full-time equivalent course) on foundation, undergraduate, masters or research course at City St George’s Clerkenwell and Moorgate campus or Urdang. Students must be in receipt of all eligible sources of funding before applying to the City Hardship Fund, including maximum entitlement to the means tested maintenance loan* and allowances from Student Finance England, NHS training grant, Welfare Benefits (e.g. Universal Credit) where eligible. Applicants must have normally received their first instalment of student finance and shared their Student Finance England assessed household income with City St George’s. Students must be up to date with their tuition fee payments and be able to demonstrate how they planned to pay their tuition fees and living costs.

UG - Whitworth Scholarship is worth £5,000 per year for up to four years excluding any industrial placements. PG - £5,000 for full-time students completing their degree in a single year, or £3,000 for part-time students.

Eligibility

Available to outstanding engineers, who have excellent academic and practical skills and the qualities needed to succeed in industry, who are wishing to embark/or have already commenced on an engineering degree-level programme of any engineering discipline. Undergraduate awards For undergraduate degree students on an Engineering course at City St George's, the Whitworth Scholarship is worth £5,000 per year for up to four years excluding any industrial placements. For sandwich courses the award will be paid on a pro rata basis. The total amount payable through the scholarship is limited to £36,000 for any individual. In order to be eligible, you must meet the following criteria: You must be a British, Commonwealth or European Union citizen You must have been resident in the UK for at least three consecutive years immediately before starting a course at City St George's You must have pursued a vocational route in an engineering discipline for at least two years after having left full-time education and before starting your undergraduate degree.
