Our Sports Scholarship programme consists of two levels and offers either £1,500 or £3,000 in a mixture of a cash bursary and support services per academic year.

Eligibility

Our Sports Scholarship programme consists of two levels and offers either £1,500 or £3,000 in a mixture of a cash bursary and support services per academic year. Sports Scholarships are awarded competitively to approximately 40-45 students each year who have the sporting ability to represent the University at a high level. To be considered for one of these scholarships you must be competing in a sport which is part of the BUCS Sport, Olympic Sports or Paralympic Sports programmes.

£2,500 scholarship for first year only

Eligibility

All countries excluding UK and EU All Coventry University and Coventry University London international students (excluding EU) can save £2,500 on their course tuition fee starting in out 2025/26 academic year with our Vice-Chancellor Postgraduate Scholarship. Our International Pathways and 100% online courses (Coventry University Online) are excluded from this award. Award details and eligibility To be eligible, once an applicant has received a conditional offer and accepted their offer, on a full-time postgraduate taught course starting in January/March/May/July 2026 intake and must be self-funded and paying international/overseas tuition fees. The total amount awarded for your first year will be deducted off your first year’s tuition fee, final payment (or it will be deducted off your first payment where you are asked for your first year’s full tuition fee, upfront). Details of your tuition fee payments due, will be outlined in your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS). Applicants can combine this award with our Sport Scholarships.

There is no application process but to be eligible, the applicant’s full CAS deposit will need to cleared within the University’s accounts by the date specified within the offer letter, and go on to successfully enrol.

Value Up to £4,000 off a full-time undergraduate degree: Year 1 – £2,000 Year 2 – £1,000 Year 3 – £1,000 Award details and eligibility To be eligible, once an applicant has received a conditional offer and accepted their offer, on a full-time undergraduate taught course starting in the 2025/26 academic year, they must meet the following conditions: Applicants must be self-funded and paying international/overseas tuition fees. £2,000 will be deducted off your first year’s tuition fee final payment (or it will be deducted off your first payment where you are asked for your first year’s full tuition fee upfront). £1,000 will be deducted from your tuition fee final payment for each subsequent academic year of enrolment.
