History

Northeastern University-London was founded in 2010 under the name of New College of the Humanities. It was established by  A. C. Grayling, who was the first headmaster of the institute. In 2019, the college was obtained by Northeastern University, which is a private American university in Massachusetts.

In 2020, it was granted its own taught degree awarding powers. In 2022, it was granted its university status and changed its name to Northeastern University-London.

Accreditation

Northeastern University London’s courses have been created by the institute’s world-class professors. On 24 February 2020, the institute was granted Taught Degree Awarding Powers (TDAP) by Her Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council, which indicates that the institute is now able to award its own degrees. The institute has undergone a review by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) for Higher Education.
