Overview
100 year history The MSc Advanced Mechanical & Design Engineering programme is engineered for those looking to lead in the development of innovative, high-performance solutions. By integrating analytical modelling, simulation tools, and evidence-based validation, you will develop the expertise required to navigate complex multidisciplinary systems and deliver technically rigorous, commercially viable mechanical solutions. Help us build on LSBU's rich history in engineering, which we've been teaching for over 100 years. This broad-based course will deepen your understanding of core mechanical engineering disciplines, as well as developing the research and business skills demanded by the industry. We offer sophisticated facilities, including a virtual reality suite and advanced CAD-CAM capability. Laboratories are well equipped for experimentation in solids, solid-mechanics and thermofluids. In addition to structured sessions, you'll be able to take full advantage of our facilities for your major project.
