Overview
This top-up course is ideally suited to those who already have a Foundation degree in education, early years, SEND or any other related field, and are working or volunteering in an early-years, primary- or middle-school setting. It will bring you up to a full Honours degree in just one year, opening up exciting career-development opportunities. The course builds on the knowledge and skills you have gained in your specialist field and explores a range of topics related to education, including educational theory and professional practice. This is a blended-learning course where you attend weekly online sessions that are enhanced and supported by allocated independent tasks; there are also six Saturday study days through the academic year. Mock classrooms with specialist technology including a resourced early-years classroom leading to our Forest School and garden space
Entry requirements
Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience. Applicants must be working (or volunteering) within an appropriate setting for a minimum of two days per week for the duration of the course.
