Overview
Applied psychology is a broad field that encompasses the practical application of psychological principles, theories, and research to address a wide range of real-world issues and challenges. Applied psychologists work in a wide range of settings, from clinical and educational settings to organisational, sports, and health-related environments, helping individuals and communities improve well-being, performance and quality of life.
Entry requirements
Entry will be via advanced standing into stage 2 and through recognised prior learning of a minimum of 60 credits obtained at level 7 in Psychology. Students are usually expected to have completed the required 60 credits within the previous 3 years to progress to Aston’s Master’s programme. Normally, students will be required to have attained an overall minimum mark of 65% within the identified 60 credits to progress to Aston’s Master’s programme.
