Overview

We are immensely proud of the Degree Apprenticeship programme. Social Work Apprentices are provided with excellent learning opportunities and support to build on their existing knowledge, skills and practice experience. The Social Work Apprentice degree programme is successful in part because we have established strong relationships with Suffolk County Council who have been our partners since the conception of the programme here at UOS. Social Work Apprentices complete three whole years in practice in social work teams within the Local Authority, giving them a unique opportunity to embed their learning during this time.
