Institution of Mechanical Engineers accreditation means your degree is a stepping stone towards registration as a Chartered Engineer. However if you perform particularly well in the first two years, you can transfer onto the MEng programme, which fully qualifies you to register. This is one of the UKs leading engineering schools with a supportive staff team and excellent facilities including engine test facilities, materials testing laboratories and digital design studios, which you have full use of in practical sessions.
