Studying biomedical engineering means learning the science and engineering behind the latest medical advances. Our biomedical engineering course covers the design and development of artificial medical implants - such as hip joints, heart valves and prosthetic limbs - as well as the development of medical technologies including surgical robots, diagnostic tools and rehabilitation equipment.
