International requirements and visas Contextual admissions Entry requirements Entry requirements for 2027 A-levels ABB–BCC. A-levels must include two sciences, preferably biology and chemistry. If you don’t have biology or chemistry at A-level, you must have the subject at AS-level with a minimum grade C. BTEC Extended Diploma DDM–MMM in applied science or similar subject. International Baccalaureate 27 points, with three subjects at Higher Level. Higher level subjects to include two sciences. UCAS tariff 104–128 points. T-level Merit in the Science, Healthcare Science, or Health (including Laboratory Sciences as the occupational specialism) T-level. Other T-levels not accepted. GCSEs (minimum grade C or grade 4) At least three subjects including maths, English language and a science. Foundation degree/HND May enable you to start the course in year 2. Successful completion of the foundation year enables you to progress onto year 1 of this degree.
