History

The University of Brighton has a rich history that dates back 150 years to its modest origins in the Royal Pavilion's kitchens. Since then, various institutions have collaborated to transform it into one of the top modern universities in the world.

Between the middle of the nineteenth century in Brighton and the middle of the twentieth century in Eastbourne, they may trace their roots. The institution has expanded continuously since it was officially recognised as a university in 1992.

Every year, over seven thousand students earn degrees in fields as varied as architecture, pharmacology, midwifery, three-dimensional design, architecture, and automotive engine design.

The prestigious institution is well-known for its four campuses in the Brighton and Eastbourne areas. Approximately seven thousand academic honours are bestowed annually.
