Overview
Graduates will be fully prepared and eligible to enter a career as a Healthcare Science Practitioner in cardiac physiology or respiratory and sleep science in a variety of healthcare settings including working in a hospital or in the community.
Entry requirements
All level 4 students start on Healthcare Science (Physiological Sciences) as all students must cover both Cardiac and Respiratory and Sleep Physiology at level 4 (year 1). After the first year you will then transfer to the chosen pathway, either BSc (Hons) Healthcare Science (Cardiac Physiology) or BSc (Hons) Healthcare Science (Respiratory and Sleep Physiology).; If you wish to apply for BSc (Hons) Healthcare Science on either the Cardiac or Respiratory and Sleep Physiology routes please apply for BSc(Hons) Healthcare Science (Physiological Sciences); Students who are eligible to join at level 5, having completed level 4 course learning outcomes elsewhere, will be required to be in a training post.
