Overview
Chemical Engineers are involved in the industrial processes to turn raw materials into our everyday products.
Entry requirements
Experience & prior education
All applicants must have prior experience in chemical engineering-related industries, and some relevant third level education. We recommend that most students apply for Year 4 entry, which will ensure you have recent experience of the maths, chemistry and fundamental principles of chemical engineering, before completing the more advanced classes in Year 5.
Students who wish to apply for Year 5 will normally have HNC or HND level qualifications in chemical engineering, or a degree in a related discipline. Closely related qualifications at a similar level will also be considered.
If you're not sure if you're eligible to apply for this course, just get in touch with us at
