Chemical Engineering (Top-up) BEng (Hons)

Whether you’ve completed a HND and want to top-up to a full degree, or you’ve completed two years of Chemical Engineering elsewhere and are ready to finish your degree with us, then look no further. This course gives you the opportunity to complete your journey and achieve your goals. In your top-up year, you’ll study third year modules from our Chemical Engineering (BEng hons) degree, equipping you with the specialist knowledge and practical skills demanded in chemical engineering.

In order to be considered for entry to the programme applicants will be required to have: Higher National Diploma with at least 60 credits at merit in level 5 modules, or other equivalent Higher Education qualification Additionally, applicants must possess subject knowledge and abilities equivalent to those of students who have completed the first two years of the full-time BEng (Hons) Chemical Engineering degree. This includes demonstrated knowledge and skills in chemical process design and simulation, thermodynamics, kinetics, and reaction and separation processes or unit operations.
