Overview
Our MA Contemporary Curating course equips you with the knowledge and practical skills that you need to work as a curator in different contexts. Curating is a critical, social and artistic exercise, going beyond exhibition-making to encompass other ways of working alongside cultural projects and public programmes. This contemporary curating master's will give you the guidance and encouragement to create your own curatorial profile, by developing your interests and connecting them with existing debates and practices. Our contemporary curating course is one of the few curating MAs hosted within a large, research-intensive, Russell Group university. You'll have the opportunity to work alongside students and experts in related disciplines, building a network of staff and peers who will inform and inspire your curatorial practice. You'll also benefit from our partnerships with galleries, as well as a rich offering of extra-curricular activities and public programmes which expand well beyond
