Overview
Studying Education and Psychology will give you expert scientific training in how the mind, brain, and behaviour work together. You will explore the psychological and neuroscientific processes that underpin thinking, reasoning, memory, and language. You will also examine the effects of brain injury and investigate evidence based ways to improve health related behaviour. Alongside this, our degree offers the opportunity to study a wide range of education focused topics, including education policy, teaching and learning, wellbeing, child development, additional learning needs, equality and social justice, and digital education. Throughout the course, you will develop excellent research, written, and critical analysis skills, as well as strong numeracy and ICT abilities.
