Embedded systems have become even more prominent and the demand for experts in this domain is poised to further escalate. Our MSc program in Embedded Systems and Control Engineering is focused on hands-on experience in electronics design and practical applications, complemented by control theory and modules emphasising the utilisation of digital technologies. You'll explore a wide range of applications, spanning from medical electronics to e-health, with a substantial emphasis on practical assignments to enhance your proficiency in software and digital hardware implementation. This includes working with microcontrollers, FPGA, DSP devices, and system-on-chip methodology. At the School of Engineering, we provide an invigorating and dynamic learning environment. With the most up to date teaching facilities and research focused on real-world challenges and driving global advancements, you'll be immersed in the latest industry practices. The course includes the option of an industrial placement, a great opportunity to gain valuable industry experience. Good second class honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject. IELTS 6.0 or equivalent. If your first language is not English, you may need to provide evidence of your English language ability.
