Overview
The programme is structured around four core areas: You’ll also complete a dissertation on a topic of your choice, guided by an expert supervisor, allowing you to develop original research and critical analysis skills. Graduates of this programme gain not only in-depth knowledge but also the ability to critically evaluate and apply employment law in practical scenarios. Whether you’re looking to advance your legal career, specialise in employment law, or simply explore this fascinating field, this course is for you. Prefer a shorter route? Our Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) follows the same structure and materials as the LLM but without the dissertation. You can still upgrade to the LLM at a later date by registering for the dissertation (and paying the fee difference). Course Director Dr Lisa Rodgers talks more about the benefits of studying Employment Law by Distance Learning. 2:1 degree or equivalent professional qualifications (CIPD Foundation Certificate (Level 3), Associate Diploma (Level 5) or Advanced Diploma (Level 7) combined with appropriate practical experience.
