Overview
This Evidence Based Practice module aims to explore and critique theories, models and strategies for evidence-based practice, with application to the health and social care setting. Examination of the purposes, uses and limitations of various approaches to evidence-based practice, with consideration of political and economic dimensions.
Entry requirements
You must normally be from a healthcare background and have support from a manager to undertake this module of study. When you accept our offer, you agree to the Terms and Conditions of Enrolment. English language requirements In addition to the academic entry qualifications, if your first language is not English you must demonstrate that your level of English is appropriate for study at postgraduate level. An IELTS overall score of 6.5 is required for this course. Application process Apply through our Moodle Portal. If you wish to take this as a standalone module then you can apply to be a postgraduate associate student using our online application portal. You will need to register for the portal prior to proceeding with an application.
