Overview
The course provides an in-depth overview of international relations, drawing on theory to make sense of the complexities of the real world. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the forces shaping global politics and inter-state relations, and put this knowledge into action through policy-based research and proposals. You will explore a range of global politics problems, from economic inequalities to power imbalances, military threats to environmental risks. You will be working in an international environment, and our course will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need for a career working in a global body, government department or organisation dealing with international policy. You will also be encouraged to improve your research skills, through hands on, practical experience.
