Discover how microbes have key roles in global challenges like antimicrobial resistance, food security and the climate crisis on our BSc Microbiology course. You'll explore how microbiology impacts all aspects of our lives and the world around us. Developing your knowledge in medical and environmental microbiology, you'll learn about how we can control infectious diseases or use microbes in beneficial ways. During our BSc Microbiology course you'll also have the opportunity to choose from a range of optional modules to shape your studies to your interests.
