Overview
The MSc in Child Protection and Adult Safeguarding covers key safeguarding trends and as a student you will explore how these trends are currently managed in practice and how we can improve the experience of safeguarding for both those subject to the processes and those working with them. This includes highlighting specific groups who may be at risk of certain types of abuse or targeting from the services that should be protecting them to ensure that we are working together to provide an accessible and supportive safeguarding framework that is working towards consistently good outcomes. The contemporary nature of the course means that any current trends in safeguarding are explored and changes in policy are considered from the impact on safeguarding practice
