This transformative one-year PGCE course combines 120 days of immersive school placements across different settings with specialised university training.
Entry requirements
You will need an enthusiasm for design technology and be committed to developing the range, breadth and variety of design technology education in schools. You will have a high level of confidence in one or more of the following areas of design technology; engineering, 3D design, electronic engineering, product design, food technology or textiles with a desire to pass on your enthusiasm to learners of all abilities. Above all, you will need a real commitment to the education of young people. Also you will need:; To hold a first degree of a United Kingdom higher education institution or equivalent qualification.; For example Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of science (BSc) etc. or similar.
