Other eligibility requirements Chevening Scholarships are for talented people who have been identified as potential future leaders across a wide range of fields. Applicants should be high calibre graduates with the personal, intellectual and interpersonal qualities necessary for leadership. Chevening publishes more comprehensive details of who can apply for the scholarship on its website, but generally applicants must: be able to demonstrate that they have achieved a minimum English language requirement be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country at the time of applying for the award hold a degree that is equivalent to at least a good UK second-class honours degree have completed at least two years' work experience plan to travel back to their home country after they have completed their studies

Eligibility

Other eligibility requirements Amount £3,000 for one year full-time Master's or £5,000 for those with an offer on the two-year Master's with integrated professional experience (full-time). This amount cannot go towards the £5,500 deposit payment required to secure your CAS (student visa). Eligibility You must be classified as overseas fee status and hold an offer for a full time Masters course starting in September 2026. Other eligibility requirements The initiative aligns with the University of Westminster’s strategic mission to champion inclusion, cultivate scientific talent, and equip graduates to make meaningful contributions in areas such as disease prevention, public health, biomedical research, nutrition, and neuroscience. Through this scholarship programme, the University of Westminster aims to remove financial barriers to study, support student success, and promote equitable and sustainable progress in health and life sciences worldwide. Amount The scholarship covers a full tuition fee waiver for the standard duration of the course, £15,000 per year to support accommodation and daily living expenses, and a £2,000 one-off payment upon full enrolment to assist with flights, visa, and Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) costs. Who can apply International students who hold a passport from, and are ordinarily resident or domiciled in, one of the following countries are eligible to apply: India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Algeria, Morocco, and Egypt. Eligibility and selection criteria Residency requirements: you must be a passport holder from one of the countries listed and currently be residing in that country. Funding status: must be self-funded (not sponsored and not in receipt of another scholarship.
