Other eligibility requirements The Mark Wood CBE Art and Design Award is offered every year to a student joining a one-year Masters course at Cambridge School of Art. The scholarship is designed to recognise excellence in undergraduate study, and to support the achievement of excellence at postgraduate level. It covers the following courses: MA Art, Health and Wellbeing MA Children's Book Illustration MA Fine Art MA Graphic Design MA Human-Centred Design MA Illustration MA Interior Design Innovation Eligibility To be eligible for consideration for our International Postgraduate Scholarship you must satisfy one of the following: studying for an MBA an ARU graduate meet the eligibility criteria, including exceeding minimum entry requirements.

You will be automatically considered for scholarship eligibility when you apply for the relevant course at this institution

There is no need to apply. You’ll automatically receive our International Postgraduate Scholarship if you meet the eligibility criteria. Applicants sponsored by an organisation such as an employer, charitable body, or government department, or those receiving federal tuition fee loans may not be eligible, depending on the terms and conditions of their respective funding body. Candidates will be required to meet all conditions of registration before the discount is awarded. For students that withdraw (both student & university initiated); all discounts will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis in line with the fee related liability and all discounts or scholarships will be subject to the terms and conditions of the award.

Eligibility

Other eligibility requirements Lower award – up to £5,000 You will receive £2,000 in the first year and £1,000 in each of the subsequent years subject to eligibility, up to a maximum of three further years of study. To receive £2,000, we assess the overall standard of the application including entry qualifications. To qualify for a further £1,000 in subsequent years you must have successfully completed the previous level and not be carrying forward any additional credits to the following academic year. Higher award – up to £7,000 You will receive £4,000 in the first year and £1,000 in each of the subsequent years subject to eligibility, up to a maximum of three further years of study. To receive this award, your overall application standard must exceed minimum requirements including entry qualifications. To qualify for a further £1,000 in subsequent years you must have successfully completed the previous level and not be carrying forward any additional credits to the following academic year. To be eligible for consideration for our International Undergraduate Scholarship you must be: an international student (international tuition fee payer) starting a full-time bachelors degree at one of our core campuses studying full-time, unless there are exceptional circumstances preventing full-time study. Degree apprenticeships, foundation degrees, distance learning or work-based degrees and students applying to ARU College are excluded.

There is no need to apply. You’ll automatically receive our International Undergraduate Scholarship if you meet the eligibility criteria. Not available for Pre-sessional English, ARUC or online courses. Only available for courses commencing in the 2024/25 academic year – applicants who fail to register cannot transfer the discount to subsequent intakes unless agreed by the University. If applicants join at an advanced entry point (year 2 or year 3) the discount is still available at the rate above i.e. £1000 per year. Only available for UG taught applicants - not during work placement or study abroad years. Study must be at an ARU UK campus. Only available to applicants joining the University for the first time – not ARU graduates or ARUC graduates. Student must have successfully completed the previous level and not be carrying forward any additional credits to the following academic year. The UG Progression scholarship is only available to students studying on a full-time UG course and cannot be combined with any other scholarship (unless exceptionally awarded at the University’s discretion). Recipients of the UG Progression Scholarship can qualify for the International Early Payment Discount in their first year of study if they pay their fees in full by the relevant date. The UG Progression Scholarship will be administered as a £1000 deduction from tuition fees once applicants register at the University for each subsequent year of study. Other eligibility requirements To be eligible for our MBA Scholarship you must be: studying our Master of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration with Placement, FinTech with Data Analytics MBA, FinTech with Data Analytics MBA with placement, Finance MBA, Finance MBA with placement, Entrepreneurship MBA or Entrepreneurship MBA with placement studying full-time, unless there are exceptional circumstances preventing full-time study This scholarship is a fee discount. We'll deduct it from the tuition fees in your first year of study. Boost your career prospects with our prestigious Master of Business Administration (MBA). Study in Cambridge or Chelmsford, within our dynamic Faculty of Business and Law, and choose from a one-year course or two years with the option of a work placement. Please note: our MBA Scholarship cannot be combined with the international early payment discount, or with any other scholarships. One-year MBA: we offer a £4,000 fee reduction to all successful applicants. Two-year MBA with the option of work placement: we offer a £2,000 fee reduction to all successful applicants. If you aren’t able to secure a work placement, you’ll instead become eligible for the £4,000 discount offered to one-year students.

There are two levels of scholarship: £1,400 per year for Elite Level. This is a cash bursary up to £12,500 per year for Podium Level. This is a full or partial fee waiver.

Eligibility

Other eligibility requirements Our Sport Scholarship provides direct support to talented sportspeople who choose to study at ARU. To be eligible for our Sport Scholarship you should: meet the entry requirements for your chosen course be a UK, EU or international student be studying an undergraduate or postgraduate taught course at our Cambridge, Chelmsford or ARU Peterborough campuses be competing at regional or national level to qualify for our Elite Level scholarship be competing at national or international level to qualify for our Podium Level scholarship be able to demonstrate that you’ll have a significant impact on the performance of the sports team you join at ARU (if applicable) and/or on BUCS points. Foundation, extended, degree apprenticeship, distance learning degree programmes and/or CPD and short courses are excluded. Podium level Offered to students who are of an international standard and can successfully compete at the highest level of university sport and above, this scholarship is worth up to £12,500 per year. It is given as a full or partial fee waiver. You’ll also benefit from individualised strength and conditioning sessions, sport therapy, sports performance workshops, and fees, travel and accommodation for agreed competitions. Elite level We offer scholarships of £1,400 per year to cover performance-related costs for students who compete at regional or national level. It is given as a cash bursary. You’ll also benefit from strength and conditioning sessions, sports performance workshops, and travel and accommodation for agreed competitions. Our Sport Scholarship covers the normal, full-time duration of your degree course. Eligibility is conditional on continuing satisfactory academic progress.

Eligibility

Other eligibility requirements To be eligible for this scholarship, you must have been accepted to study a one-year Masters degree at Cambridge School of Art (see list of courses above). Full-time and part-time students are eligible (part-time students will study a one-year Masters programme over two years; the scholarship will be awarded in the first year of part-time study). You should have studied your undergraduate degree at ARU. The scholarship will be awarded to the applicant who has achieved the highest marks in their ARU undergraduate degree. Applicants will be selected based on actual marks (percentage) achieved. UK and international students are eligible.
