Eligibility

Other eligibility requirements The scholarship applies to full-time Postgraduate Taught Programmes that are delivered on campus (either at Birmingham or London) and lead to the award of an MSc, MA, MBA, or MEng. Aston online courses which lead to the award of an MSc or a DBA are also eligible. The Scholarship is applicable to courses commencing in September 2026, January 2027, and April or May 2027. The Scholarship does not apply to courses starting from September 2027. This scholarship applies to all Aston University standard on-campus taught masters programmes and online programmes. It also applies to the Full-time, Executive part-time and Online MBA programmes.

Other eligibility requirements To be eligible for a Chevening Scholarship you must: Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country or territory. Return to your country of citizenship for a minimum of two years after your award has ended. Have completed all components of an undergraduate degree that will enable you to gain entry onto a postgraduate programme at a UK university by the time you submit your application. This is typically equivalent to an upper second-class 2:1 honours degree in the UK but may be different depending on your course and university choice. Have at least two years (equivalent to 2,800 hours) of work experience. Apply to three different eligible UK university courses and have received an unconditional offer from one of these choices by 17:00 BST (UK time) 9 July 2026.

Other eligibility requirements Gold Scholarships of £12,500 will to a small number of outstanding candidates. We are looking for: Evidence of leadership demonstrated throughout your career to date Evidence of entrepreneurial behaviours and impact Evidence of a commitment to equality, social responsibility and sustainability The ability to show the role that the Aston MBA will play in your career development. Silver Scholarships for students of £6,000 will be awarded to candidates who are assessed as excellent. We are looking for: Evidence of commercial success achieved during your career to date Evidence of applying entrepreneurial thinking Understanding of the importance of equality, social responsibility and sustainability A passion for self-development, a clear rationale for wishing to study the Aston MBA and a vision of where the MBA will take you. All scholarships are awarded on the basis of a recommendation to an award panel after interview. The criteria to be considered for a scholarship are: (Candidates must demonstrate at least two of these three criteria): 1. Evidence of very strong academic performance (at least Upper Second Class Degree or equivalent) 2. Evidence of considerable management experience of at least seven years 3. Strong evidence of a mindset, attitude and skill set which will contribute to the MBA cohort.

Eligibility

In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, Aston University is offering £10,000 towards tuition fees for one-year postgraduate-level taught courses to one student from each of the following countries who enrol at Aston University: (Please note - excluded courses are the MBA and Postgraduate Diploma for Overseas Pharmacists (OSPAP)). Bangladesh Egypt Pakistan India The scholarship programme offers financial support of a minimum of £10,000 to students pursuing one-year postgraduate study in the UK. Students can apply for courses in a range of subjects, at the 71 institutions across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Eligibility criteria Course: One-year postgraduate-level on-campus taught course (excluding the MBA and OSPAP). Nationality: Bangladesh, Egypt, India and Pakistan (you must also be a current resident of your country) Minimum academic qualification: equivalent of a UK 2:1 degree qualification (except Egypt)

Other eligibility requirements To be eligible for the Postgraduate International Community Scholarship, applicants must be classified as Overseas for tuition fee purposes. 1.2 Applicants must hold an offer for a full-time postgraduate taught programme delivered on campus at Aston University, Birmingham, commencing in September 2026. 1.3 Applicants must be entering the first year of study of their postgraduate taught programme. 1.4 Applicants must meet all academic and non-academic conditions stated in their offer letter. 1.5 The Scholarship is available only to self-funded students. Applicants whose tuition fees are wholly or partially funded by a sponsor are not eligible, unless the sponsor has a formal written agreement with Aston University explicitly confirming eligibility for this Scholarship. 1.6 For the avoidance of doubt, any employer contribution, reimbursement, or third-party funding, whether paid directly to the University or reimbursed to the student, will be treated as sponsorship and renders the applicant ineligible. 1.7 Meeting the eligibility criteria does not create an unconditional entitlement to the Scholarship. The Scholarship is awarded only once all eligibility, offer conditions, deposit payment, and enrolment requirements have been satisfied. 1.8 Applicants acknowledge that they should not make financial, immigration, or personal decisions in reliance on the expectation of receiving the Scholarship until it has been formally applied following successful enrolment.
